'VSP with You' Project
The VSP Onlus Association, born in 1986, had as its main aim that of giving its professional help to the many Third World Countries held back by poverty and social plight. The realisation that, due in part to the recent financial crisis but mostly to the staggering ongoing migrant emergency, these problems had crossed Italy's borders, demonstrated the need for action within our own Country.
The 'VSP with You' project, started in 2013, is the answer to said need for action. The original aim of the new project was to make the diverse skills of our volunteers available to volunteering associations operating to fix social plight among Italian youth. The idea was to collaborate with these associations to bridge the gap left by the withdrawal of public funding.
VSP in Numbers
VSP operates on a variety of different humanitarian schemes both in Italy and abroad. Our network of institutional partners contains the likes of CESES (Confederation of European Senior Expert Services) among others, as well as 18 other Italian associations, including Sodalitas. Through said network, our associates have the opportunity to collaborate on projects at the highest professional level, which aim to help the youths, businesses and bodies with which they are able to interact on a daily basis
